Dark Comet Games has released a synopsis on the official forum of the game called Stargate: Resistance. In this synopsis the new company who has explained their role in the further production of online third-person shooter games.
The newly formed company takes daily support and marketing of games and the time of the owner of the Firesky Fresh Start Studios. Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, the parent company of FireSky, and Cheyenne Mountain Games (the original developer of «Stargate Resistance») is currently in court for a bankruptcy and the various dispute management, and, what’s more, for ceased operations.
According to synopsis, as of March 2010, Dark Comet games company has signed an agreement with Firesky about the operation, functioning and development of the project called Stargate game Resistance. Dark Comet Games is the newly formed company consisting of the original developers of the game that are able to continue the development of the project without delays and issue new items with two styles of the game, new character models, weapons, and other developments and features in the coming weeks.
Dark Comet Games plans to sell «Stargate Resistance» with a new television advertising campaign the Network of which started in April 30.
"Stargate: Resistance" is a licensed product of the film studio MGM, in accordance with the license Firesky. Firesky publisher keeps the dedicated product and is happy to cooperate with Dark Comet Games, to develop and expand the game.
